Canon 16-35mm F / 4 L IS USM Vignetting using filters:

Hi, I have done some field tests to determine the degree of vignetting presents this magnificent wide-angle Canon. The test I have developed with the shortest focal lens, 16mm, with different apertures (f4, f8, f11) and the following filters: Hoya ND400, Hoya Polarizer Slim HD, holder Lee + wide angle ring with 1 and 2 slots installed. All threads are 77mm filters.

HOYA ND400 HMC

POLARIZING HOYA HD

LEE FILTER HOLDERS WIDE ANGLE RING + 1 FILTER

LEE FILTER HOLDERS WIDE ANGLE RING + 2 FILTERS

LEE FILTER HOLDERS  WITH 1 FILTER + ANGLE WITH RING + HOYA ND400

LEE FILTER HOLDERS  WITH 2 FILTER + HOYA ND400

LEE FILTERS HOLDERS WITH 1 FILTER + POLARIZING HOYA SLIM HD

LEE FILTERS HOLDERS WITH 2 FILTERS  + POLARIZING HOYA SLIM HD

As you can observe the vignetting F4 aim too even without any filter, can be solved by closing one or two steps, because the bullet is considerably reduced, even this can be easily corrected in post processing.

Greetings to all!!!
