Canon 5D Mark III with Tokina 11-16mm F/2.8 DxII Pro

Hello,

After conducting field tests with the lens Tokina 11-16 f / 2.8 DXII Pro (Target APS-C format) on a Full Frame as the Canon 5d Mark III, you must know that the image is only acceptable in the focal 16mm, (still it has a substantial vignetting) below this forms a circle in the image.

Still I wanted to try this lens for night shots, because I discard to landscape for those who use any type of filter (like me) because the sonbras around the edges is excessive. I used the Canon 16-35 f4 IS USM concerning the Tokina 11-16mm compared with f / 2.8 DXII Pro.

Both shots are made to 16mm f / 4 and 30 seconds, unprocessed:

Canon 5d MarkIII +Tokina-11-16 DXII PRO f2.8

Canon 5d MarkIII + Canon-16-35 F4

Canon 5d MarkIII + Canon-16-35 F4

Here you have some cuts the upper left corner:

The difference is obvious … only if you are not very demanding, you might be Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 lens for your full frame.

Greetings to all !!!
